ooc: Shiva wants to be Queen. But strangely in the post, it says that she doesn't really want to be - not because she's afraid that she might be incapable or anything (she's perfectly capable, she might over do it sometimes though) but because she just doesn't feel like it - like she has better things to do (which she doesn't, and that's why she's trying out). She's assuming that she's going to try being the queen of this place, though. And you can see some rambling I guess - I tried not to. So hard... Lol.
SHIVA
... say hello to darkness ... What was it with power?Everyone knew that everyone wanted it. But how about her? Did she want it like everyone else? Shiva always believed she already had it. She had the power; she had everything else. Thus, why should she desire more? Greed was not her friend - a servant, perhaps. But she did not seek it often and it had not touched her since she was but a yearling. However that did not mean she did not play this string of temptation in others. Oh, she strummed that tune so many times before - to enjoy the feeling of desire in them, to relish their emotions of helpless want. It was a feeling of control, and truth be told - true power only lies in the servant's wishes. If they desire life, being that they do not want to die, they follow. If they desire love, they also follow. If they want materialistic possessions or some other form of power - why, if you have them and you simply offer the idea of giving it to them, you have them in your mercy. But if they seek dignity, it was but another temptation to protect their self-image. So thus, a threat to their honor would do just nicely. Ah, everything plays itself into the world like a film strip. So predictable, so adaptable. It was her shifting personality, her ability to change just in a snap, that brought her all sorts of satisfaction. Of course, it threw some horses off - thinking that she was demented or had serious bipolar disorder. But then again, that was why she lived so peacefully - however peace can one go - among the darks. Weren't all darks bipolar, emotional, and hostile? The darks related to her but she couldn't relate to them. She disliked their code of conduct - be absolutely, blatantly rude about everything and express your sad emo self in the cruelest, bloodiest way imaginable with your sick mind happily adding, of course, lots of gore. She disliked the idea that they even had a code. What were darks anyways? If they were hateful creatures that sought revenge - she wasn't it. If they were insane imps that desired power above everything else - Shiva was also the one to reject it all. If they were hostile madhorses that wanted blood - then for her: sadistic maybe, but bloodthirsty? Eh, she could argue with that one. She did not seek blood nowadays. It just came by - nuts happens all the time. But if darks were the ones that fought for justice and had the stubborn courage to rebel, even to their death - then yes, she would proclaim she was a dark. But the catch was, it wasn't just darks that were honorable and bravely rebellious like this. Neutrals, lights - they claimed they have those traits to. It was just all a work of propaganda. Lights are just adorable. She loved them. Why? Even herself, the grand majestic lady of contemptual pride, did not care to know. It was the light that tamed her. Shiva couldn't resist them; they were her precious dolls, something that she wanted to cherish and protect. Cruel and sadistic, Shiva may be but she wasn't like any other dark - it would be obvious from the point she encountered a light. She loved them, and became unusually sweet to their allegiance. Hardly she would be so kind to a dark; no, they always saw what they wanted to see - sadistic, evil, malicious... But with lights, it was of love and gentle friendship. It was their purity that she drank so greedily; she had plenty of blood and savagery - why would she want more of those? Strange enough... Perhaps then, she was a light. The title of Queen sounds nice. But it wasn't as if she wasn't already a queen. A queen of nothing, perhaps. But still a queen. She was the royal master of all she saw. She already had it. She did not seek it. Shiva could only look upon others with the same icy contempt she had for any dark. She was already royal, already divine in her own unique way. If one would argue against it, she wouldn't much less give a d**n. This satisfied temptress knew her self and where she was and what she was. She knew she wasn't officially labeled 'queen of whatever d**n fairy terra' but in her reason, she was the queen of her world. One had to conquer oneself before it can conquer anything else. And that was precisely what she did. Whatever challenge you put her up to, name it and it'll be believed it was done. She knew she could handle anything and everything life, no nature with the horses themselves and the wilderness alike, threw at her. But is it really? She never wanted it. She avoids it.However, an official queen of something was filled with expectations. Ugh, expectations and duties. They repelled her more than the idea of gaining honor only through title and a show of favoritism from the real ruler. This equine title of queen by description was just a first-class sleeper, no more than a favorite concubine by the king. The mare really had no actual power; she did not gain leadership through her own actions but by the voiced proclamation of the lord himself, announcing her as his favorite date out of all his sick sexual harem. She proved nothing but that she had the love of an idiot stallion who saw leadership through desire. No, this title - Shiva did not want it. Shiva enjoyed true freedom and delighted in the fact that she was not tied by anything. Absolutely, completely nothing. No family, no friends, no love. What had she to lose? She had everything to gain from her situation. No one could threaten her with anything but her own life which she did not frankly care much for anyways - she knew she could protect herself if she wanted; and if she couldn't, she probably did deserve to die anyways. Death was never a fear factor for her. So many times she had embraced it, so many times she had tortured it, and another more thousand times, Shiva had sent it off to do her errands. Yet, if queenship was so unworthy of her, she continued to offer her leadership to others. Why? It was all the empty time she had gathered up to kill. It was not the title of queen that she sought but the acknowledgement that she was a leader. If she was to be a queen, she would be the queen. By her own merit, her own courage and ability to control and dominate - or not at all. Shiva did not take the easy way out. She needed others to fear her, to worship her. Not name her. So, then why does she do it?Maybe the answer could be found in her wandering history. A past of many choices can be told in one setting perhaps. But to put it concisely: Only two years ago, this vicious "queen of nothing" was made a merciless warrior. Blood, gore, sadism and all that a dark could ever want in their violent lives. She was their soldier of darkness, to promote hate and pain - to love death and misery. A touch of physical anger to cure the most broken inner wounds. But for her, it was in the love of chaos and threats. A challenge to rise up to and defeat to live for another day. It was the thrill and exhilaration of beating down death day after day that reasoned with her what she was doing was right. But then a catalyst of change in which she became a player. Possibly, she had defeated all there was to defeat. Probably not all the strongest rivals, no - but her own addiction to blood and insanity. Shiva was finally tired of battle weariness and the rush of adrenaline - she had seen too much of it and it wore her down into boredom - something that she was so used to that it lost the feel it once had in the beginning - just like any other deadly obssession. She looked towards the exact opposite of herself, desiring change and something new and satisfactory. It was towards complete love - and truth be told, she stuck too true to her will. Too many hearts she broke during this time unintentionally - and intentionally. She loved everyone, and everyone was forced to like her. But now, Shiva knows her identity shifts too often - a formless blob of mystery. She had turned to apathy and indifference for the stability she lacked in herself. This cold withdrawal of emotion was probably fatal. It was utterly lifeless - another reactionary cause to her desire to transform into something other than her previous self. She had once hated everyone, once loved everyone, and now she just didn't care. It was indifference that was more disturbing and more annoying than hate or love. But it was this icy stone soul that slowly killed all its victims. The owners lost their life, lost their soul, and lost their identity to be nature's horse. And that is why Shiva is breaking away in this own suicidal trap she had set up for herself. She feels more, contemplates more and sleeps just a little less. Her only cure was the lights. The battle for justice and the duty to protect what she believed. And so, she still likes to play...[1607 words] [/sup]

It's perfectly alright. This is a perfectly well written post and I think it should be considered for the position of Queen since Alucard has already claimed this land. I did state in the rules that a character could have the position they wanted if the post was over 1000 words and yours is. What do you think Itasca?
